John Reilly of Waitsfield got this marvelous shot of a Barred Owl in his yard last month. We rarely get to see that wonderful long wing span. Good shot John!
Fantastic! I have seen Barred Owls every time I’ve been in the woods over the past couple of weeks. I can imagine they are mighty hungry after a long and heavy snow packed winter. What a beautiful bird.
