Mad River Path – Austin Walk, Thursday, August 18, 7:30 AM

Meet at Lareau Swimming Hole parking lot (just south of Featherbed Inn on Route 100) at 7:30 AM for a 1/2 mile walk on Austin Walk on Mad River Path along the river.  This is an open area that crosses Chase Brook and follows the Mad River north.

Mad Birders will meet at Riverside Park (just south of Kingsbury Bridge and Golden Lion Inn and across from Sugarbush Access Rd in Warren) on Friday, August 5 at 7:30 AM to explore the Mad River Path’s  new Clay Brook Bridge, then cross Rte 100 to Sugarbush Snowmaking Pond and back.  Come join us.

Mad Birders will do a walk on  the West Greenway section of the Mad River Path.  Meet at the  Meadow Rd parking lot (north of Waitsfield Village near Small Dog Electronics)  at 8:00 AM .  This is part of Vermont Festival of Great Outdoors (http://www.vtoutdoorsfest.com/events/).  Birders of all abilities are welcome.
