A Vermont Big Year of Birding

Posted on Thursday 20 March 2008

Over one third of the bird species in North America reside within or migrate through Vermont every year. Is it possible to see them all? What is it like to try? Join the Mad Birders for an informal talk and slide presentation by Terry Wright, a Vermont birder whose quest was to see as many bird species as possible within Vermont’s borders during the 2007 calendar year. The talk and slide show will be held on Saturday March 29th from 7PM until 9PM at the Warren Town Hall on Main Street in Warren, Vermont. The event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served. Call 496-4730 for more information.
